Dr. Briana Peddle ND
Naturopathic Medicine, Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy, Bowen Therapy

My passion is Women’s Health and how it changes and evolves over the lifetime. Specifically, I love working with women experiencing hormonal concerns of any kind. I have completed additional training in menopause hormone replacement therapy, and have helped hundreds of women navigate the transition through perimenopause and menopause. I am also experienced in supporting people with PCOS (now called PMOS to reflect the systemic nature of this syndrome), endometriosis, adenomyosis, fibroids, PMS and PMDD.
In addition to working with women through the various stages of life, I also have a special focus on digestive health, stress management, fatigue, mental health and the mind-body connection that underlies our wellness.
As the mother of two energetic boys, one who was not a perfect sleeper, I know what it means to be tired. This is why I love helping TIRED MOMS. Fatigue isn’t just a drain on energy, it also impacts your hormones, digestion, mood, immune system, ability to heal and more. It’s true that it takes a village to raise a child, but it also takes one to support a mother. I’m here to be part of your village.
I was born and raised in Victoria, BC and have always had an interest in healthcare. When I was 17 years old my father passed away after a year-long battle with cancer. He spent the last week of his life in Hospice where he and my family received attentive and loving care from the staff. This was when I realized that health is so much more than just the absence of disease.
After completing my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, I considered a career as a midwife and joined a medical team in Guatemala. It was there that I was captivated by Naturopathic medicine and decided that this was my calling.
I am a member of the BC Naturopathic Association (BCNA), in good standing with the CCHPBC (College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC), a Bowen Therapy Practitioner, I have my prescriptive authority and I have received additional training in Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy.
I consider the larger issues surrounding health and wellness, such as the impact that lifestyle, emotion and stress can have on the development and progression of disease and understand that health is so much more than just the absence of an illness. It is my purpose to help you achieve wellness in the most complete sense of the word and my goal is to help you understand why you are feeling the way you are and for you to become an active participant on your healing journey.
